Description
Interfaith Imagination will host our next event at Grand Rapids Art
Museum on July 12th from 6-9 pm. Under the instruction of our friends
at Carolyn Stich's studio we will learn how to cut craft foam to
create decorative lanterns. These lanterns can be placed over candles
to create beautiful shadows. The cost for the event is $10.00. This
includes a vegetarian meal, instruction and all materials. Prior art
experience is not required and all ages teen and up are welcome.
This event's theme is inspired by the geometric patterns present
in Anila Quayyum Agha: Intersections piece which won ArtPrize in 2014.
Intersections is now on display at GRAM (May 19-Aug 26th).
Please note that upon registration we will let you know about
parking options. We are working on confirming a local congregation to
provide parking free of cost.
