Description

This month we will be having a screening and discussion of the movie,  Cold War  (Click here for trailer), as a part of Cinematic Conversations at Celebration! Cinema Woodland (3195 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512). This screening will take place on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 6:30 pm.

Film Synopsis: Cold War is a passionate love story between two people of different backgrounds and temperaments, who are fatally mismatched and yet fatefully condemned to each other. Set against the background of the Cold War in the 1950s in Poland, Berlin, Yugoslavia and Paris – the film depicts an impossible love story in impossible times. It has been nominated for three Academy Awards, for Best Foreign Language Film, Best Director, and Best Cinematography.

Following the film, we will gather in The Party Room of the theater to have a round table conversation about the movie! In addition to discussing the film, this interfaith movie cohort is designed to foster relationships around the shared experience of cinema.

Individual $6 tickets will be available at the counter.

This film is Rated R.
