Meet Your Sikh Neighbor

Date and Time

Sunday, November 17, 2019 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

You are cordially invited to attend “Meet your Sikh Neighbor: A Celebration of the 550th Anniversary of The Sikh Religion.”

The event will include a personalized tour of the Sikh Gurdwara (place of worship), music and kirtans, opportunities to meet and hear from various faith communities, opportunities to learn about the Sikh history, turban tying, and Langar (a vegetarian dinner). All are welcome to attend!

This gathering of our region’s community and interfaith leaders will celebrate the 550th anniversary of their founding Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Meet Your Sikh neighbor is being led by the Sikh Society of West Michigan, in partnership with the Kaufman Interfaith Institute. It will provide space for leaders and neighbors within our community to familiarize themselves with the religious diversity of West Michigan in a comfortable and inviting setting.

We look forward to welcoming you at the Gurdwara!

Please RSVP to Inderjit Singh, or 616-856-3076, by November 8, 2019.
