The Brooks Mentoring Program

We understand that navigating college and your professional development can be challenging.  We are here to support you by offering a mentor program to Brooks students of all majors.  Part of the transitions from student to professional is about connecting with someone who can guide you as you take your "Next Steps."

Mentors in our program include Brooks alumni as well as community professionals in a number of different career fields.  We will do our best to pair you with someone that is working in an area of interest to you.  This program is not meant to serve as a direct-job connection, but rather this is a way to connect with someone that can offer guidance with the general process of:

  • Job searching and best practices for interviewing
  • Problem solving skills
  • Professionalism in the workplace
  • Networking, marketing and articulating yourself
  • Finding a work vs. life balance

If you have any questions please contact The Brooks College Office of Integrative Learning and Advising, email at:, or phone, 616-331-8200.
