Visual Identity
Our identity’s visual elements — our logos, typefaces, colors, and imagery — bring the Grand Valley brand to life.
A visual identity is a set of components that provides a consistent and recognizable image for customers and community. Visual identity involves the graphic design of printed materials and websites, but also includes architecture, landscape, environmental design, and other visible aspects of an organization.
It is important to note that visual identity addresses sighted people. Those without sight cannot interact with visual identity as they do with messaging, employee interaction, or other non-visual aspects of brand expression.
Each section linked below includes guidelines for proper usage and application in order to ensure the brand is consistently applied across all university materials.
