HTM 213 - Introduction to Food and Beverage Management
Scott VanDeraa is an adjunct instructor for the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM). Scott has been working in the food service industry for over 25 years, the last 16 with hospitality management company, Creative Dining Services, currently as the Food Service Director at Davenport University. A Grand Valley Alumni, Scott graduated in 1999 with a degree in Communications and a Business minor. His food services career has put in positions in both back-of-house and front-of-house from dishwasher to director.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and son, watching movies, reading and just relaxing.
