Courtney Geurink is an adjunct instructor for the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM). She is also the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations for Grand Valley State University, where she provides opportunities for alumni to continue their Laker for a Lifetime journey. Her responsibilities include coordinating campus-wide events such as Homecoming, GradFest, Golden Reunions, and GVSU Night at Comerica Park. Courtney also works closely with the Young Alumni Council and regional Alumni Club Leaders, aiding them in their efforts to engage alumni.

Prior to joining the Alumni Relations team in 2016, she was the Director of Events and Programs at The Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg. In this role she coordinated community events, managed two farmers markets, mentored a team of interns, and promoted the community.

As a proud alumna herself, Courtney graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management and completed a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership in 2019. She serves on the board of Young Professionals in Higher Ed and volunteers in her community. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, golf, and traveling. She lives in Grand Haven with her husband and their English Lab, Molli.
