Low Impact HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) describes any workout that alternates between intense bursts of activity and fixed periods of less-intense activity or even complete rest. It is without question one of the most effective and efficient ways to burn fat and boost aerobic capacity, but what most people don't realize is that it doesn't have to be high impact. In this class participants will still reap the fat-burning, metabolism-boosting benefits of a HIIT workout, but with low impact moves.

Low Intensity SPINNING
If you’re new to Spinning, beginning or returning to an exercise program or just looking for a lower intensity, non-impact workout, this class is for you.  With an extended warm up, and strategic movement pattern, you’ll gradually increase your heart rate.  You’ll balance time in the saddle with shorter periods out of the saddle and brief intervals into higher heart rate ranges.  Modifications will be provided so you can work at your own fitness level.

Move to Feel Good
Want to exercise but don’t like the way it makes you feel or afraid you might injure yourself?  This class is designed for generally healthy faculty and staff who want to develop a routine for movement in a fun and safe way. Qualified instructors will guide participants through energizing low impact fitness routines twice a week and provide motivational weekly communications. Comfortable clothing and tennis shoes are encouraged.
