Jhay-Lah Kennell
Jhay-Lah took Culture, Power and Inequality in 2018-2019. During her sequence, she enjoyed the team teaching from her professors, along with the trips that they were able to take as a class! Specifically, Jhay-Lah is "graduating with very warm and fun memories from exploring Art Prize freshman year and being pushed to explore Grand Rapids, to our adventures in Detroit". Jhay-Lah explained that her "most memorable activities in class were the days spent discussing new topics and learning what it means to participate in a college-level discussion". She noted that the lessons learned during her sequence have helped her throughout the remainder of her academic career, and she is "better at discussing heavy topics due to this experience".
