TRAINING WORKSHOP: REACTING TO THE PAST
Fri., Oct. 20, 9:15am-3:15pm
You can register for the Reacting to the Past workshop here.
Reacting to the Past consists of role-playing games focused on historical conflicts around big ideas. From ancient Greece to Title IX, there is probably a game which would fit and enrich your courses. Proven to enhance student engagement, RTTP games teach general education skills including public speaking, information literacy, collaboration, and writing. You will play an abridged game and learn how to integrate RTTP in your courses.
Game materials including your role sheet will be e-mailed to you. A few hours' advance preparation is recommended but not required.
Participants will receive lunch.
