Sarah King
Sarah is a graduate student in the Kirkhof College of Nursing (KCON)
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
program. She is the president of the KCON student chapter for the
Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and works as a teaching
assistant at the KCON. As a first-year fellow in Cook Leadership
Academy (CLA), Sarah is looking forward to developing her leadership
skills and connecting with and learning from individuals from
different backgrounds and professional fields.
After completing her DNP program, Sarah plans to work clinically
as a nurse practitioner, teach nursing at the undergraduate or
graduate level, and engage in health policy advocacy. In her free
time, Sarah enjoys lifting weights, playing pickleball, quilting,
traveling and scuba diving.
