Robbie Settle
I am Robyn Settle from Detroit Michigan. I am a returning student at
GVSU as a Senior this year. I am majoring in Women's Gender and
Sexuality Studies following a minor in African American Studies. I
love networking and meeting new people. one of my favorite things to
do is to inspire students from all over the world!I love a good
challenge and opportunities for myself, and I'm very
hard-working/outspoken individual. At GVSU I am apart of a lot of
programs such as the Olive Wilson Scholars, Colors Of Pride, TRIP Peer
Mentor, Rep 4 Mentor, Charter Schools Volunteer, Gear up program and
Trio Classic. This year I am excited to be apart of this new program
named WIT peer educator! I am also a very understanding, very
outspoken, kind-hearted, funny, and creative individual. Not only
creative but an excellent listener I really try to encourage others
to become a better version of themselves. I also fights for what is
best in order to implement some type of change in the world and by
doing that I speak with groups of students and provide them with key
elements of success in order to prepare for college. I love to be
apart of campus activities, I am currently working on adding a new
organization for Black Women on campus this year !. My goal later in
life is to be able to do more public speaking.
