Lola Robar
Lauren "Lola" Robar is a senior double majoring in
Political Science and Public, Nonprofit administration. This is her
first year as a fellow candidate and she is excited about new
experiences and the opportunities for growth in the Cook Leadership
Academy. Lola is an advocate for community development, and you can
usually find her volunteering in her role as Director of Activities
for the Campus Activities Board or serving as President of Sigma Alpha
Iota International Music Fraternity, she is a proud member of Pi Sigma
Alpha, the National Political Science Honors Society. Lola works as
the Political Science Tutor for the GVSU Tutoring and Reading Center
and as a Padnos College of Engineering student assistant. In her free
time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, painting, playing tennis,
baking bread, and during football season, watching a football game,
especially Laker Football. She hopes to work in education policy
following her graduation, increasing college access and ensuring
universities are enacting policies to serve the needs of their students.
