Leah Thomason
Leah Thomason is a fourth-year student at Grand Valley State
University pursuing a bachelors in product design and manufacturing
engineering with a minor in mathematics. She is the secretary of the
National Society of Black Engineers and the treasurer of You Beautiful
Black Woman. During the school year, she works as a tutor for both the
Engineering Success Center and the Math Center. This past summer, she
worked as a engineering intern at Rose Medical and was able to develop
her professional skills and make many meaningful connections within
the company. As a returning fellow candidate, Leah looks forward to
strengthening her leadership skills and meeting new people. In her
free time, she enjoys being outdoors, playing volleyball with friends,
and spending time with family.
