Daniela De Andrade
Daniela is attending her final year at Grand Valley State University,
pursuing a major in Biomedical Sciences, with minors in Chemistry and
Biology, and a certificate in Medical and Health Humanities; with a
dream of becoming a physician in the future and helping
underrepresented communities. She works as a Chemistry and Psychology
tutor at the Tutoring and Reading Center and as a Behavioral Health
Technician at the University of Michigan Health-West. Daniela is
passionate about engaging in scientific research and baking. One of
her greatest accomplishments at the University was the founding of the
Multicultural Health Advocates club, which is dedicated to being a
community for minorities and immigrants/international students on
campus, in hopes of making healthcare more diverse and creating
opportunities for minorities. As a first-year fellow candidate of the
Cook Leadership Academy, she is eager to learn leadership skills she
can use in her future career.
