CK Hamilton
Caroline (CK) Hamilton is a fourth year at GVSU majoring in Film and
Video with a minor in German. Mainly focused on writing and directing,
CK has used their time at school to connect with their fellow students
and professors while immersing themselves in the industry. They are
currently president of the Women in Cinema and CONTINUOUS: Script
Writing Club on campus, working to destigmatize the industry and
create welcoming communities for those interested in working in film.
They also have worked as a teachers assistant since sophomore year
with the Media Production 1 class as well as at Production Support
Resources renting out equipment to fellow students and faculty.
Freshman year, they created an independent film group called SNECC
Studios that makes short films to hone their skills and build up a
portfolio. When they arent making movies, they enjoy hanging out with
their friends, painting, reading, and watching movies and TV shows. In
the future they hope to be a professional screenwriter telling unique
stories everyone can connect with while continuing to work and help
out their friends and others around them.
