Aly Furstenau
Aly Furstenau is a senior at Grand Valley State University studying
Biomedical Science and Chemistry on the pre-medicine track. She is a
first-year fellow candidate who is looking forward to building
meaningful connections with her peers and career mentor. Aly is the
founder and President of the Future Female Physicians Club, the
Treasurer of the Students Demand Action Club, and an active member of
the Pre-Med Club. She is also an ESL tutor through the Literacy Center
of West Michigan and a nurse technician in the Neurosurgical Intensive
Care Unit. In her free time, she loves reading, cooking, exercising,
and spending time with her friends and family. Next fall, Aly will be
attending the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University
in hopes of becoming a physician.
