Marissa Sanchez
Marissa Sanchez, a first-generation third-year student at Grand
Valley State University, is pursuing a degree in Biomedical Science
and Behavioral Neuroscience. As a first-year Cook Leadership Academy
Fellow, she is eager to develop her leadership skills and connect with
fellow fellows who share her passion. Beyond the Cook Leadership
Academy, Marissa is actively involved in the Real Estate Club at Grand
Valley State University, serving as an Executive Board member, and is
a General Senator for the Grand Valley State University Student
Senate. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, working out, cooking and
baking, and providing care as a Nurse Technician at Corewell Health.
Marissa’s ultimate goal is to pursue Medical School and become a
Neurologist, bringing her closer to her dream career.
