Marcos Sanson
Marcos Sanson is a senior studying computer science at Grand Valley
State University. After graduation, he plans to further his education
with a graduate degree. His career goal is to work at the intersection
of technology and leadership. At Grand Valley State University, he
serves as president of the Computing Club and the Society of Hispanic
Professional Engineers, both of which promote professional development
and community engagement. Previously, he completed internships at the
Air Force Research Laboratory and Gentex Corporation. He has also been
involved in undergraduate research at Grand Valley State University
through the Kindschi Fellowship program and the Ronald E. McNair
Scholars Program. Additionally, he has studied abroad twice in Spain:
first for a summer program in Ourense, then for a full semester at
Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. As a first-year Cook Leadership
Fellow Candidate, Marcos is looking forward to growing his leadership
skills and collaborating across disciplines. He is passionate about
empowering others and making a positive impact through his work and leadership.
