Makayla Andersen
Makayla Andersen is currently pursuing a Master of Public
Administration, with a specialization in Nonprofit Management &
Leadership, at Grand Valley State University. Makayla earned her
Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Business from Aquinas College. As a
Senior Sustainability Specialist at Preferred by Nature, she brings
nine years of deep and evolving expertise in sustainable business
practices, supply chain certification, and environmental compliance.
In addition to her work in sustainability, Makayla serves as Co-Chair
of her precinct’s local and general elections, where she applies her
commitment to civic engagement and organizational leadership to
support the democratic process in her community.
