Kaitlyn Besley
Kaitlyn Besley is a second-year Honors student pursuing a Bachelor's
degree in Business Economics and a Piano Pedagogy Certificate at Grand
Valley. Born in Beijing and raised at the foothills of the Tibetan
Plateau, Kaitlyn was homeschooled alongside her three younger siblings
while her parents engaged in missions work in China until 2019. Coming
from a homeschool background, she is fascinated and excited by the new
experiences and opportunities that college life offers, and she enjoys
finding new study spots on campus. In the future, Kaitlyn hopes to
continue teaching piano, use her skills to support a small business,
and eventually homeschool her own children. In her free time, you'll
find her reading, going for walks, or watching philosophy videos.
