Grayson Rodgers
Grayson Rodgers is a sophomore at Grand Valley State University,
studying Social Work and Sociology. He is from Farwell, Michigan,
where he found a love for helping others. Grayson is an active member
of the GVSU Student Senate, where he currently serves as a College of
Liberal Arts and Sciences Representative on the Advocacy Committee.
This has provided an excellent leadership opportunity that has
encouraged him to develop his skills with the Cook Leadership Academy.
Previously, he was a student assistant with the Michigan Department of
Health and Human Services, which has reaffirmed his love for child
welfare and helping the community. In his free time, Grayson enjoys
watching football, soccer, and basketball, working out, and traveling
to new places. Grayson is committed to developing his leadership
skills through fostering self-belief, having a diverse dialogue with
others, and establishing new connections. After undergrad, he hopes to
work in the social work field while pursuing his Master’s in Social Work.
