Genesis Giron-Ayala
Genesis Giron-Ayala, a junior at Grand Valley State University, is
pursuing a double major in Biomedical Sciences with minors in
Chemistry and Psychology. As a first-generation student, she is
committed to creating welcoming environments wherever she goes. At
Grand Valley, she is actively involved in various organizations,
including Mu Epsilon Delta Medical Fraternity (Omicron Alpha chapter
of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc.), Laker Familia, and the
founding President of Honors Familia. In her free time, Genesis enjoys
traveling, attending concerts, spending quality time with family and
friends, and experimenting with new recipes. Her ultimate goal is to
pursue a career in Emergency Medicine as a Physician. Currently, she
works as a nurse technician in the Emergency Department. Genesis is
enthusiastic about the opportunities that CLA will present her with
this year, as well as the chance to develop her leadership skills and
forge connections with fellow Lakers.
