Ben McKim
Ben McKim, a rising senior at Grand Valley State University, is
majoring in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in
Marketing. Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, he aims to leave a
lasting impact on west Michigan by demonstrating unwavering
dedication, determination, and admiration for his future career and
craft.
On campus, Ben is an integral part of an award-winning a
cappella group called Euphoria. As a tenor, he not only contributes to
their musical performances but also manages their social media
accounts. Beyond his musical endeavors, Ben finds joy in various
activities, including working on and driving his car, meeting new
people, and exploring ways to bring smiles to others’ faces.
Currently, Ben is in his third year of working as a Leasing Community
Intern at Locale Student Housing in Allendale, Michigan. His long-term
goal is to pursue a career in property management or ownership. During
his junior and senior years, Ben had the opportunity to study abroad
in Copenhagen, Denmark. This international experience has ignited his
passion for travel and broadened his horizons. He aspires to embark on
a global journey, immersing himself in diverse cultures to gain a
deeper understanding of the world’s complexities. Ben is an
enthusiastic person who thrives on meeting new people and embracing
