Art Jackson
Art Jackson is a senior at Grand Valley State University pursuing a
degree in Nursing. Passionate about equitable healthcare and community
service, he currently serves as President of the Multicultural Student
Nurses Organization. In this role, he advocates for diversity,
inclusion, and representation within the nursing field. ART volunteers
with Interim Hospice Care, where he provides compassionate support to
patients and their families during critical times. In addition to his
academic and service commitments, he is the founder of OffTheShelf, a
shoe-cleaning business developed during his time at Grand Valley. His
entrepreneurial spirit reflects his drive to blend creativity with
service. Art is dedicated to creating meaningful change both in
healthcare and in the broader community. He values leadership that is
grounded in empathy, purpose, and action. His experiences reflect a
strong commitment to service, innovation, and cultural awareness. Art
looks forward to growing as a leader through the Cook Leadership Academy.
