Abigail Austin
Abigail Austin is an adult student at GVSU, is majoring in Psychology
and Philosophy. This summer, she spent three weeks studying the
psychology of peace, conflict, and reconciliation in Northern Ireland.
Her passion lies in utilizing social-emotional skills like empathy,
perspective-taking, and critical thinking in reconciliation work. She
aims to translate these skills for use with children and caregivers,
providing our next generations with the resources they need to prevent
or navigate through conflict. Excited to conclude her final year at
GVSU, she is serving as Lead Fellow with the CLA, learning how to
become a more ethical and effective leader in her community.
