Hannah is a full-time graduate student and full-time employee. In her
limited free time, she enjoys volunteering for local organizations,
such as Circles Ottawa County in Holland, MI and the Momentum Center
for Social Engagement in Grand Haven, MI. She also spends time
crocheting, reading, and traveling. So far, she has travelled to
China, where she taught English to Chinese middle school students, and
has vacationed in Greece, Germany, Austria and Belgium. In the coming
year, she plans to add Haiti, Puerto Rico, France, Italy, and
Switzerland to the list.
She believes traveling is important for many of the same reasons that
the Cook Leadership Academy is. There is much to be learned from
different people and cultures, and she hopes that these experiences
will have an impact on her leadership skills.
