Brianna Wisti - Clinical Exercise Science
Brianna Wisti is a Junior at Grand Valley in the Frederik Meijer
Honors College. She is majoring in Clinical Exercise Science with a
minor in Psychology. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, Brianna
plans to attend graduate school to become a Physician Assistant.
Brianna is from Cleveland, Tennessee, where in the summers she works
as a Direct Support Provider, administering home health care and
support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
She has a passion for working with this population and in the future
hopes to work for a clinic specializing in caring for individuals with
special needs. Brianna aspires to attend a medical study abroad trip
to Ghana this upcoming summer to complete her senior project. Her
project will be centered around the idea of identifying programs for
people with special needs in Ghana, comparing them to the programs
offered in the United States, and then bringing awareness to the Grand
Valley/Grand Rapids community for the need of additional support of
this population. Currently, Brianna is a Certified Nursing Assistant,
and has certifications in First Aid and CPR. She is also on the
National Registry as a First Responder. Brianna is a member of the
Strength Club at Grand Valley, and she competes in powerlifting. In
her free time, Brianna enjoys spending time with her friends and
family, being outdoors, and traveling.
