Join Gleaves and a special guest from either the community or the Cook Leadership Academy for a brief video conversation that explores a provocative topic. Brian Bowdle will join Gleaves on Tuesday, June 2 at 1 PM EDT.
Brian is a psychology professor at GVSU. His " primary area of
research is psycholinguistics, with particular attention paid to the
comprehension and production of figurative language – especially
metaphor – and the relationships between grammatical and conceptual
structures." His other areas of interest include "moral
psychology, political psychology, and the ways in which human behavior
is driven by the interplay between evolutionary and cultural forces."
