GVSU Recognized as Veteran-Friendly School

The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency has selected Grand Valley as a gold level veteran-friendly school. In order to achieve this prestigious status an institution must meet specific criteria including: housing a veteran’s center and/or employing an on-campus veteran’s coordinator, existence of a student-run veteran club, establishing a process for veteran identification, awarding credit for military experience, creation of a veteran-specific website, and evaluating student veteran job placements.
