TESOL Alumna Awarded Competitive Fellowship

Lauren Ashley Garrigan, a Master of Education in Literacy Studies with an emphasis in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) alumna, has been awarded a fellowship for 2019-2020 by the Fulbright English Language Fellow Program. The FEL Fellow Program is an exchange offered jointly through the U.S. Department of State and Georgetown University which places highly-qualified U.S. educators in TESOL in 10-month fellowships at academic institutions across the world.
Ashley has been placed at a university in India through this competitive program, and starting in August, she will be teaching English at Ahmedabad University. Ahmedabad University is located in Ahmedabad, India which is the largest city in the western state of Gujarat. Congratulations to Ashley on all her success!
