GVSU OFFERING NEW GRADUATE CREDENTIAL IN EMERGING LEADERSHIP IN 2019

GVSU is now offering a Graduate Credential in Emerging Leadership for a 2019 cohort. A graduate credential is designed to develop emerging business leaders through 12 months of experiential learning. The program will prepare students to be effective leaders, integrative thinkers, and strategic analyzers.

The Graduate Credential in Emerging Leadership consists of five GVSU Mastery ModulesĀ© that develop functional specialists to take on or broaden leadership roles within their organizations. Each of the five GVSU Mastery ModulesĀ© must be taken in order to complete the credential. The Mastery ModulesĀ© are:

  • BUS 501: Self-Management for Leaders
  • BUS 502: Operational Alignment for Leaders
  • BUS 503: Leading and Empowering Teams
  • BUS 504: Essentials of Enterprise Leadership
  • BUS 505: Principles of Strategic Leadership

The courses are offered on the Pew Campus of GVSU in the L. William Seidman Center in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. Students would typically attend classes on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. once or twice a month.
