Digital Media/Graphic Design Internship

Job Description: Under the supervision of the Communications & Project Coordinator, the Digital Media/Graphic Design Intern will be responsible for creating advertisements, fliers, posters, website banners and graphics, presentation templates, booklets, brochures, and other marketing materials at the request of staff in the Office of the Vice President for Inclusion and Equity. In addition, the intern will create and pitch visual identities for various programs, units, and signature events. The intern will also assist the Communications & Project Coordinator with the maintenance of multiple websites and will develop social media content. All efforts will reflect GVSU’s values of inclusiveness and community and the Division of Inclusion and Equity’s commitment to social justice.
Hours: 10-12 hours per week - flexible schedule, not required to work during final exams or university breaks.
Duration: Fall semester 2016. Employment for Winter 2017 and subsequent semesters will be offered based on performance and needs of the office.
