Join us for our Winter Celebration Dinner & Dialogue event. We will be exploring the unique fish and mussel species that make the Grand River and Lake Michigan their home. Presenter Daniel O’Keefe, from the Michigan Sea Grant, will lead us on a deep dive to learn more about these aquatic inhabitants and what they need to survive. We also will explore how these species have been impacted by human activities, such as fisheries and invasive species. The discussion also will include how these impacts are altering food webs and resources for engaging students to help protect and preserve our native species.
