DESCRIPTION:Join us at our December Dinner &amp\; Dialogue as we dive into the theme of Developing Community Partnerships! This PD opportunity will feature Janet Staal\, Director of Nature-Based and Outdoor Education at West Side Christian and longtime Groundswell participant. Janet has conducted place-based education in Grand Rapids for over a decade\, and brings years of experience in partnership collaboration to this teacher training. The evening will also host a handful of community partners who are excited to invest in Groundswell projects with educators this year. We will hear perspectives from both Janet and local organizations on how partnerships can enhance the Groundswell experience and how to make those connections.\n\nThis PD event is welcome to any educators and partners interested in learning more about Groundswell\, those who are actively working on their student projects already\, or those looking to deepen their community connections!\n\nDinner will be served.
