Traverse City Campus: M.P.H. - Health Promotion
Traverse City Cohort
The M.P.H. - Health Promotions program at the Traverse City Regional Center welcomed its first cohort for Fall 2016!
In addition to the general admission requirements which include GPA, recommendations, and a personal essay, admission to the Traverse City campus also included the following considerations: previous/current residence in Northern Michigan, and previous/current connections to or experiences in Northern Michigan, particularly in the field of public health.
Classes are held in late afternoons (typically beginning at 3pm) or evenings, and will be offered both online and at the Traverse City Regional Center. Students focus on the health promotion emphasis and may choose electives in policy, environmental health, and health disparities.
Upon completion of the five semester M.P.H. program, graduates will be qualified to earn voluntary professional certification by CHES.
