Innovation Design Center for Engineering

Grand Valley is West Michigan’s best engineering resource. The nationally recognized curriculum is industry-inspired, project-based, and requires three semesters of mandatory co-operative, on-site learning. As the program has grown in size and complexity, so have its needs. The Innovation Design Center, a 63,000 square foot facility and 2.7-acre campus, will serve not only as a vital resource for students, but as a catalyst for innovative partnerships between the college, companies, and community. The center will allow the college to transform existing space to meet projected annual enrollment increases, better serve our community and industry partners, and support our K-12 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) outreach to prepare future engineers.

The Innovation Design Center will provide expanded, flexible project space for our current students, as well as benefit our industry partners with better-equipped student projects, and usable spaces like the DTE Energy Foundation Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Lab for pre-compliance testing.

Club Sports

Support Grand Valley’s club sports such as ice hockey, lacrosse, wrestling, and more with their travel expenses. Our athletes compete regionally and nationally on 50+ club sports teams. With 52 National Championships or Runners Up in program history, Grand Valley’s club sports provide an exciting alternative that bridges the gap between centralized play and varsity athletics.
