It is considered the premier compliance assistance event from EGLE\, designed to help businesses\, municipalities\, and environmental professionals understand and comply with their environmental requirements in Michigan.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWho attends?\n\n\n\nAttendees include environmental consultants\, engineers\, business representatives\, municipal employees\, and anyone involved with environmental regulations in the state.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWhat can I expect?\n\n\n\nTechnical sessions\: Experts deliver presentations across concurrent tracks covering a wide range of topics\, such as air quality\, drinking water\, waste management\, remediation\, and wastewater/stormwater.\n\n\n\nEnvironmental Compliance Basic Training (MECC 101)\: The Basic Training track is an introductory-level program designed to equip participants with\:\n\n\n\n\n\n	A foundational knowledge of Michigan&rsquo\;s environmental regulatory system\n\n	Overview of major program areas and compliance obligations\n\n	Understanding of permitting\, reporting\, and inspection processes\n\n	Insight into enforcement procedures and compliance best practices\n\n	Successful completion demonstrates foundational knowledge of environmental compliance. Certification will be provided to all those who complete this training.\n\n\n\n\n\nNetworking opportunities\: The event provides a forum for networking with regulators\, EGLE staff\, and environmental professionals.\n\n\n\nExhibitor showcase\: Vendors showcase environmental technologies\, products\, and services.\n\n\n\nOne-on-one assistance\: EGLE staff from various programs are available to provide direct assistance and answer questions about specific compliance requirements.
