Description
Designed for new adjunct faculty.
The primary aim of New Faculty Orientation is to orient you to the mission, vision, and values of GVSU, identify the essential things you need to know before your first day of class, and provide you with a brief overview of services and supports available to you as a faculty member, that can support your teaching.
Two-hour face-to-face orientation session offered in the evening on both the Allendale campus and the Pew Grand Rapids campus. New adjunct faculty are invited to attend whichever session is most convenient for them.
This in-seat session will provide:
- Hands-on support with GVSU technology including Blackboard, banner, and accessing your GVSU network login
- An opportunity to engage with new and existing faculty
- Time for your questions to be asked and answered
