What are Outside Scholarships? Scholarships provided by agencies, foundations, or other providers not affiliated with Grand Valley State University.
What are Fellowships? Funding opportunities for bright and talented students to pursue study, research, public or foreign service, at both the undergraduate and graduate level in the U.S. and abroad.
Some external scholarships and fellowships are nationally competitive award opportunities. Some of these awards do require institutional certification or endorsement by the university. The Frederik Meijer Office of Fellowships supports student scholars in pursuit of nationally competitive award opportunities through advising services and programming, they are located temporarily in 120 Niemeyer.

Essay-based scholarship for students with a minimum GPA of 2.5
Essay based scholarship (800 words max) on the topic of why you're pursuing a career in behavioral science; open to students in programs focusing on treating mental health and substance abuse issues.
Essay-based scholarship for undergraduates and graduates.
Answer two questions to apply for this scholarship; preference given to students with a background or interest in sales, although all students are welcomed to apply.
Write an essay (500-1000 words) explaining your career and life goals. Open to students of any major.
