Medical Assistant

Kristin Start is a registered medical assistant who has been with GVSU Family Health Center since March 2021. Previously, Kristin had worked in Muskegon Heights for 3 years as a medical assistant in family medicine and also has a background in phlebotomy and MAT programs. Kristin attended Cornerstone University for 3 years to study biology before transferring to Ross Medical Education Center to obtain her RMA certificate.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys board games, trivia, reading, spending time with family and friends, crafts, birdwatching, and is an avid football fan. Kristin loves making those around her laugh and believes that a smile can change someone’s day.
