DESCRIPTION:The White House Internship Program is a public service leadership and development program that provides emerging leaders with an opportunity to gain valuable skills while supporting the work of the White House and furthering the priorities of the Biden-Harris Administration.\n\n\n\nEach year\, leaders from around the country participate in the White House Internship Program to dedicate their time\, energy\, and experience to serve the country through public service.\n\n\n\nUnder the Biden-Harris Administration\, it is a paid internship for the first time in recent history.\n\n\n\nELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS\n\n\n\n\n\n	Applicants must be U.S. citizens.\n\n	Employees of the Federal government are not eligible unless they are career military personnel.\n\n	Applicants must have completed their undergraduate education by the time they begin the application process.\n\n	If you have additional questions about the program\, please contact our program office at whitehousefellows@who.eop.gov or (202) 395-4522. If you encounter technical difficulties with your application\, please contact WHFApplication@opm.gov.\n\n\n\n\n\nSELECTION CRITERIA\n\n\n\nSelection as a White House Fellow is based on a combination of the following criteria\:\n\n\n\n\n\n	A record of remarkable professional achievement early in one&rsquo\;s career.\n\n	Evidence of leadership skills and the potential for further growth.\n\n	A demonstrated commitment to public service.\n\n	The skills to succeed at the highest levels of the Federal government\, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.\n\n\n\n\n\nAll these qualities combined with the strength of one&rsquo\;s character\, a positive attitude\, and the ability to work well with others are taken into consideration when selecting a class of White House Fellows.
