BEGIN:VCALENDAR VERSION:2.0 PRODID:-//GVSU//GVSU Calendar 0.1//EN BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART:20270331T000000 DTEND:20270331T000000 DESCRIPTION:The MOE Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Program (HES) is established by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to encourage international students to undertake Mandarin Chinese (Huayu) courses in the Republic of China (Taiwan)\; in order to provide them with opportunities to increase their understanding of Taiwanese culture and society\, and to promote mutual understanding and interactions between Taiwan and the international community.\n\n\n\nHuayu Enrichment courses will include a summer term (June and July or July and August)\, along with term classes\, which may last 3\, 6 or 9 months to a year respectively.\n\n\n\nThe yearly application period is from February 1st through March 31st\, unless specified otherwise.\n\n\n\nGVSU students should apply through the Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago ( – - Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago Ð\; å\;ð\;“ß\;‡¦\;‹U (roc-taiwan.org)).
