DESCRIPTION:The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) is a fellowship funded by the German Bundestag and U.S. Department of State\, that annually provides 75 American and 75 German young professionals\, between the ages of 18&frac12\;&ndash\;24\, the opportunity to spend one year in each other&rsquo\;s countries\, studying\, interning\, and living with hosts on a cultural immersion program.\n\n\n\nThe program consists of three phases\:\n\n\n\n\n\n	Two months of intensive German language training\n\n	One semester of classes in one&rsquo\;s academic or career field at a university\, technical or professional school\n\n	Three-month internships in one&rsquo\;s career field\n\n\n\n\n\nCBYX is open to candidates in all career fields who are interested in a year of academic\, professional\, and cultural exchange.\n\n\n\nParticipants must be\:\n\n\n\n\n\n	U.S. citizens\n\n	18&frac12\;&ndash\;24 years old on August 1st of program start year\n\n	High school graduates (with diploma)\n\n	Strongly interested in Germany and world affairs\n\n\n\n\n\nFor more information\, please contact cbyx@culturalvistas.org.
