Club Sailing Golf Outing

The Laker Club Sailing team invites you to their Second Annual Golf Outing! It's Family Weekend, so campus will be buzzing with activity - join the Club Sailing Team, alumni, and supporters on the golf course! Tickets include greens fees, cart for all, Laker Sailing t-shirt, and lunch! Join us in learning how Grand Valley State University is training your GVSU student to be the next generation of healthcare practitioners. GVSU is the leading provider of health sciences professionals for Michigan and this hands-on tour will give you an inside look into the resources and equipment students learn on in order to receive the skills and knowledge they need to be highly recruited for healthcare jobs.

There will be a light breakfast from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and the tour will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and end at 10:30 a.m. This event is free! Please contact Amy TerHaar at terhaamy@gvsu.edu or 616-331-5709 with any questions or concerns.

Take a cruise on the W.G. Jackson to learn about aquatic ecology and have discussions on fisheries, exotic species, and human impact on the environment. Join us for a Grand Valley Picnic inside the Fieldhouse Arena from 5 - 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 23. This event will feature an opportunity to enjoy time with your student, meet other Grand Valley families, and get in the Laker spirit before going to the football game, kickoff at 7 p.m.

Our menu features Malibu burgers (meat and veggie), Bakery Buns, garnish tray, sliced cheese tray, homestyle mac and cheese, traditional garden salad, fruit salad, and assorted crave-worthy cookies. President Haas, Louie the Laker, the GV cheerleaders, and the Laker Marching Band will all make special appearances!

Tickets for adults and students are $13. Children under 3 are free.
