2020 Parent & Supporters Orientation

Our Parent and Supporters Orientation Program covers a variety of topics that will better familiarize you with Grand Valley State University and is specifically designed for parents and supporters of new students. Parents and supporters will remain with their student during the morning resource fair, check-in, and welcome. Parents/supporters and students will then follow separate schedules for the remainder of the day.

You and your student should plan to check in at Henry Hall by 9:30 a.m. The program typically concludes by 4 p.m. Our Parent and Supporters Orientation Program takes place in various buildings across campus. Please wear comfortable clothing appropriate for walking reasonable distances. The Parent and Support's schedule is shown below. Please visit the Admission's website for the student's schedule.

We look forward to seeing you at Parent and Supporters Orientation!
