Hear Max Peer’s story of his 4 year, 35,000 mile bike and canoe journey to promote a more sustainable world through open access to quality educational materials.

SAP University Alliances, Interaction-Design Foundation (IDF), and Grand Valley State University are pleased to announce the Share the Knowledge Tour will stop at the L William Seidman Center on July 22, 2013. We invite you to join us for this exciting event!

In mid-May in Orlando, IDF’s biker, Max Peer, began a four-year around the world bike and canoe journey. Over the next six months Max will bike and canoe more than 6,000 miles, visiting universities across North America to share his story with professors, students, and local communities. Mile by mile, city by city, university by university Max is promoting open access to quality educational materials. Education is the single most powerful way to lift people out of poverty and change lives, and Max will share this vision at every stop. View this video preview and check out the bike tour website.
