Title: Why Is _(Fill In The Blank)_ On Fire Again? And Other Burning Questions

Speaker: Nate Emery, Dept. of Biology, Michigan State University

Event Description:

Australia is on fire, California is on fire, the Amazon is on fire, who's next? Wildfires are in the news around the world and in many places are natural disturbances with plants and animals adapted to surviving with fire. However, we humans are changing the global climate and changing fire across many different ecosystems. Dr. Nate Emery of Michigan State University (@FoggyIdeas) will host a conversation about the natural and unnatural cycles of wildfire around the world and how people can affect positive change towards ecosystem sustainability.
