The Save a Life Tour is a division of Kramer International, a world-renowned entertainment company. They are located at 3849 Lake Michigan Drive in Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49534. Their toll free number is 888.655.7263, their office number is 616.791.0095 and their fax number is 616.791.4419. The Save a Life Tour is a high impact alcohol awareness conference with a mission statement that says, Our objective is to use every method at our disposal to bring home the shocking reality of the life-changing and often deadly consequences of drinking and driving because adults and peers saying, 'Don't drink and drive!' has lost its impact on the youth of today. The Save a Life Tour was developed due to America's staggering problem with alcohol-related crashes. The Save a Life Tour, along with the members of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity of GVSU, has teamed up and are committed to educating as many people as will listen about the dangers of getting behind the wheel after consuming alcohol and just about the negative effects across the spectrum associated with drinking and driving. We will do so through the use of cutting-edge technology and a no-holds barred attitude. With a commanding video and an immersive, state-of-the-art Drinking and Driving Simulation, we are confident that our presentation will create enough of an impact to cause people to think twice before getting into their car. We aim to grasp the attention of America's young drivers because they are the key to lowering alcohol-related crashes and will help to create a safer driving experience for everyone. Furthermore, GVSU will also be one of the first places in the world to showcase Kramer International's new, state-of-the-art Texting and Driving Simulation. The simulation was just recently finished in June and just recently began touring with the Save a Life Tour, with GVSU being a primary institution in the efforts of establishing this new simulation and outstanding addition to the program. Speakers throughout the day, as well as surveys, pictures, and videos will educate those who attend and provide information behind the effect of drinking and driving, as well as texting and driving. The program offers a variety of ways for all to get involved and will also include food throughout the event. This is our second year running this event and we look to make it even bigger. It is free to students or community members and there are many options to learn and interact.
