GVSU in partnership with GRPM will host the 4th annual Roger That! Conference to honor Grand Rapidian astronaut Roger B Chaffee on February 14th and 15th. This year, we join GVSU's "Making Waves" initiative to look at the important connections between space exploration and water! The academic conference on Friday, February 14th at the downtown campus will feature faculty from GVSU, Calvin University, and MSU who will talk about a variety of space related topics in the sciences and arts like using water to perform rituals in space and water in the Milky Way. In addition, there will be a morning keynote by Alice Bowman, and afternoon plenary by scientists from the Adler Planetarium and the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, and an evening keynote by astronaut Story Musgrave.
